Bat Night at the Museum
A Collaboration Event between the Environment and Resources Authority (ERA) and Heritage Malta. On Friday, 6th September, participants will get to know more about these misunderstood, flying mammals and to experience our local nature. The event is led by a guide and experts in the field of nature conservation. From 19:00 hrs onwards, the public can visit various stalls at the Natural History Museum’s courtyard, where they can converse with government entities, NGOs and researchers that work with bats. The night event will start at 22:00 hrs and last till 07:00 hrs. Until midnight, various activities will be organised, including refreshments. After 05:00 hrs, Participants will wake up to watch the sunrise and see bats returning to their roosts, to be followed with breakfast.
