Jersey Bat Group Bat International night public walk
Jersey Bat Group walk for the public. The walks are free (although donations are appreciated), and you can arrive anytime between 7.30 and 8.30 p.m. JBG members will guide groups around the route and there will be some talks about bats along the way. There will also be a chance to use a bat detector. You can expect the walk to take about an hour. You will need suitable clothing, sturdy walking shoes and a torch. There will be some items for sale, including our new JBG notebooks at only £4.50 each (very useful for your own use and lovely as a gift for family/friends) and there will be hot drinks and cakes/biscuits at the end. There is no need to book but, as the walks are usually very popular, if you can car-share that would be appreciated. The walk on 27th August starts from the top car park at Queen’s Valley reservoir (off La Rue D'Aval)
