International Bat Night in Armenia

Armenian Association mammalogists NGO is organizing an international bat night for Armenian students. It will take place in Hrazdan Canyon near the village of Argel. Students will listen lecture about bats, in particular about Armenian bats, their distribution, conservation status and conservation activities. The second day the students will carry out a mistnetting near the caves and on the river. Throughout the night the students will spend in the field with bats and will try to work with the bat detectors. The third day they will come to Yerevan State University, where they will fill out a questionnaire about the bats, and we will understand what they have learned in these days with bats
