Međunarodna noć šišmiša u Park-šumi Marjan (International Bat Night in Park-Forest Marjan)

The Event will start during the morning hours at the amphitheater in Park-forest Marjan.

First there will be a presentation about bats in the ecosystem of the Park-forest Marjan, with an emphasis on the important role of bats in controlling the abundance of pest populations of forest trees. Educational panels intended mostly for children will be located throughout amphitheater, they will contain general informations about bats including many interesting facts about their lives.

Then, everyone interested can participate in instructive walk along Marjan with expert guidance. Also, additional educational activities for children are being considereded.
