Past International Bat Night
To tie in with the 29th International Bat Night, organised by UNEP/EUROBATS, Sicily Bat Night is back for its eighth year. This time, it will take place entirely in an urban environment for the first time.

Another year more I'll be celebrating bat night. Currently it's in the Basque country and Navarra during the summer and autum.
The first activity is on August 30th. I appreciate any supplies: stickers, drawings, posters and stories for the childs.

International Bat Night in Ivano-Frankivsk, Ukraine will include:

The workshop is focussed on the conservation of bats. The leading species is the Lesser horseshoe bat - in Polish Podkowiec hence the names of major events organised by Pro Natura contain the word Podkowcarnia meaning the horseshoe stables.

August 31 – A Night for Bats at the LIPU CHM Oasis in Ostia
On August 31, we invite you to the LIPU CHM Oasis in Ostia for a special event born from the collaboration between Tutela Pipistrelli APS and LIPU.
A union of skills and dedication with one shared goal: to return freedom to bats that, after being found in difficulty, have been cared for and rehabilitated with patience and expertise.
Evnironmental activity that consists of educatinal event and placement of a bat-box network in Chornobyl Radiation and Ecological Biosphere Reserve. Stakeholders of the project are represented by Chornobyl Radiation and Ecological Biosphere Reserve and local communites.The main goal of the event is the debunking of myths about bats, their negative reputation and recovery of bats population after Kyiv territory deocupation from hostile military forces.

Balade crépusculaire autour du château à la découverte des chauves-souris et de leurs sons, avec du matériel d'écoute spécialisé .
On both evenings we will have a presentation and a mistnet to catch some individuals to show them directly to the people.
We will be at 2 locations, first evening in Hüttenrode (Harz) and second in Bernburg (Saale).
In Zusammenarbeit mit der Stadt gestalten wir zwei Münchner Parks zu fledermausfreundlichen Lebensräumen um. Dabei optimieren wir vor allem das Nahrungs- und Quartierangebot. Gleichzeitig wollen wir den Parkbesuchenden Wissen über unsere Münchner Fledermausarten vermitteln und Bewusstsein über die geheimnisvollen Jäger der Nacht schaffen - mit Infoschildern und einer eigens konzipierten Fledermaus-Soundinstallation, die die Rufe der Fledermäuse vor Ort live hörbar macht.
International Bat Night will take place in Kharkiv. Excursion to Ukrainian Bat Rehab Center will be orginized for two groups of visitors. We will show live bats, how to feed them and tell people about their importance in ecosystems.

Event Presentation: Bat Night at Belvédère Park
As part of the 29th edition of International Bat Night, the Friends of Belvédère Association is pleased to host, for the 14th consecutive year, a special evening dedicated to raising awareness and appreciation of these fascinating creatures, on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at Belvédère Park in Tunis.
The National Laboratory of Virology warmly welcomes everyone on 30 August 2025 to the Szentágothai Research Centre of the University of Pécs to explore together the mysterious world of bats.
Exciting lectures, interactive demonstrations, and children’s activities await you. Discover these remarkable animals up close and learn why they are so important for a healthy ecosystem and for scientific research!
The event is free of charge and open to all ages.

Dans le cadre de la « Nuit Internationale de la chauve-souris », venez découvrir ces
petits mammifères nocturnes encore mal connus. La soirée débutera par des jeux
pédagogiques pour petits et grands afin de découvrir l’univers fascinant de ces demoiselles
tout en s’amusant, suivie d’une diffusion du film « Une vie de Grand Rhinolophe
» réalisé par Tanguy Stoecké. La soirée se terminera enfin par une petite balade
nocturne à l’écoute des ultrasons qu’elles produisent pour se déplacer et chasser.
Tous les ans, le dernier week-end du mois d'août est consacré à la découverte des chauves-souris dans toute l'Europe. Chaque année, des animations diverses et variées sont proposées en Suisse par des spécialistes et passionné.e.s. En 2025, ce sont 26 soirées à la découverte des chauves-souris (9 en Suisse romande) qui sont proposées au public !
Educational event with interactive stations where visitors can learn why bats matter, discover fascinating facts, understand the threats they face, and enjoy a children’s corner with creative activities. The program also includes Q&A with Bat World Bulgaria team, and if weather permits, a short evening bat walk with detectors.
