Call for help from Germany: radio-tagged bats in the European airspace!

Recent news from the "Monitoring Fledermauszug in Deutschland" project: starting from 13th of August 2017, 20 bats (12 Nyctalus leisleri and 8 Pipistrellus nathusii) will be tagged in East Germany (Brandenburg and Saxony-Anhalt) with 150 MHz-band transmitters for tracking their susequent migration routes. The project heavily depends on the participation of amateur radio operators across Europe and Northern Africa. The project coordinator is Mr. Hans-Joachim Vogl: DG1HVL. He will be able to provide detailed information and technical support.
