Cyprus Department of Environment, along with the 13 partners of the Pandoteira project, organised a two-day celebration for the European Natura Day. The celebration took place on May 20^th and 21^st, 2023, and featured various activities amidst nature.

The central focus of the celebration on Sunday, May 21^st, 2023, was the community of Mammari, located in the Nicosia District. Part of this area, known as “Mammari – Kokkinotrimithia - Deneia”, is designated Natura 2000 site and serves as a habitat for bats.
