In the period of 17-20 October, Romanian bat experts and biologists from Romanian national and natural parks will gather in Cernatu de Sus, Covasna County.
Organized by the Centre for Bat Research and Conservation, on 18th of October there will be a workshop for biologists from Romanian national and natural parks, in frame of the LIFE project LIFE PODKOWIEC PLUS: back to the forest – holistic conservation of bat breeding habitats (website). The workshop will supply detailed information about bats, bat species identification, monitoring methods and conservation measures to park biologists, and will also try to answer their questions regarding challenges they are facing in their own regions in terms of bats.
