Description: | On Sunday, 25th August, the State Museum of Natural History warmly invites visitors to join the outreach event "International Bat Night in Ukraine 2024." Just like last year, friends and colleagues from the Ukrainian Bat Rehabilitation Centre (Kharkiv city) will help you learn more about the fascinating world of bats. Soon, within the museum walls, you will be able to hear an engaging talk about bats from scientist and co-director of the Bat Rehabilitation Centre, Alona Prylutska.
Throughout the day, our young guests and their parents can enjoy activities in the cosy museum courtyard. These include bat-themed painting, puzzles, learning to fold origami in the shape of these nocturnal animals, trying on bat wings, receiving stickers, and interacting with real bat researchers. By attending the event, you will also have the rare opportunity to see this mysterious animal up close!
So, we invite you on 25th August to visit the event "International Bat Night in Ukraine 2024" at the State Museum of Natural History in Lviv, located at 18 Teatralna Street. We start at 12:00. Fascinating multimedia talks about bats will take place at 12:00 and 15:00 in our Scientific Attic.
