The synopsis of evidence lists all the possible actions you could take to conserve bats, or to tackle a particular conservation issue. For each action, it brings together the available scientific evidence with summary statements that are quick and easy to read. It describes each piece of evidence with references, and links to more information on the www.conservationevidence.com website. The synopsis was developed in partnership with an international advisory board of bat conservationists and researchers.

What works in conservation' (http://www.openbookpublishers.com/product/347) takes this evidence and asks a panel of experts to assess the effectiveness of conservation interventions to provide key messages for conservation. The volume includes a chapter on bats.
